- Place of origin: New Zealand, Japan
- Description: This hardy climber flowers at the start of spring and autumn. The profusion of creamy-white fragrant clusters of flowers has earned it, the Maori name Puawhananga, meaning "flower of the skies“. Foliage is dark green.
- Grow best: Sun to partial shade. As it grows fast and vigorously, prune when necessary
- Use: Looks impressive covering an arbor or a fence or garden shed.
