MALPIGHIA GLABRA

  • Description: Perennial shrub or small tree growing to 2.5m with bright pink flowers and bright red fruits. Edible fruits are rich in Vitamin C and usually eaten by birds
  • Grow best: In partial shade, in dry soil with medium watering.
  • Use: As a small ornamental tree. The canopy of delicate leaves make it suitable for landscaping.
