  • Description: Tree grows to about 30 m. Amazingly, when the trunk is cut with a stone, a blood red liquid oozes out which crumbles upon drying .


  • Grow best: In bright sunlight in well-drained soil, as that in hilly areas.


  • Use: Wood, leaves and flowers used in Ayurveda.
